A £1 million project set over 18 weeks, focused on the location and development of a new UK-based facility.

This Sports Nutrition Manufacturer is a long-term client with whom we have developed a trusted and productive partnership that has seen the delivery of significant and successful results. Up until they contacted us, our client had had their products manufactured overseas and shipped to their UK warehouse for storage and distribution. Yet having developed their brand in the UK, our clients wanted a new UK-based facility in which they could manufacture, test and develop their range of products. This new base would include offices, warehousing and distribution.

We began the process by locating a suitable property. Upon finding a site that fitted all of our client’s requirements, we moved towards not only securing it but by submitting applications for RDA funding. This funding would be crucial to ensuring the viability of the project. Our vast experience of funding processes was realised when the grant was approved.

Managing work alongside a main contractor in a design and build contract, we oversaw the modification and fit out of the property to suit the warehousing, office accommodation and production requirements of our clients.

With very specialised products, our clients required the procurement of carefully designed process equipment. The equipment would need to produce blended powders in pouches, plastic containers and bottles which involved the organisation of a number of suppliers in order to achieve a coordinated solution.

Since the finish and opening of their UK-based facility, we have continued to support our client in order to optimise their processes, procedures and services.
