IFP CONSTRUCTION CAPABILITIES

Being conscious of the requirements around hygiene and production continuity when working in ‘live’ production environments is something that Paul Hanson, head of construction at IFP has a wealth of experience in.

Whether it is a factory refurbishment project or a multi-million-pound greenfield development, his team of talented construction professionals work in ways to deliver successful projects in a safe way.

The team has extensive experience working in ‘live’ hygienic production environments in the dairy, food & beverage and brewing sectors, factoring in the difficulties and risks that will be involved when proposing a construction solution. Providing everything has been laid out beforehand, with all eventualities assessed, projects can be delivered on time, within budget and with minimum disruption to the clients’ day-to-day operations.

In addition to the team of construction professionals, who ‘work on the front line’, there is also a team of experienced designers and project managers who work more ‘behind the scenes’. This wealth of support is offered to all clients to ensure the best results possible.

Some of the construction centric projects included in IFP’s solution offering include:

  • Greenfield developments
  • Refurbishment works to live operational facilities
  • Site master planning
  • Site expansion / rationalisation schemes
  • Site decommissioning
  • Site demolition

All advice is independent and isn’t affiliated to any specific contractors or suppliers so clients can be reassured of an impartial solution every time, simply picking the right solution for the project in hand.

IFP is currently managing the design and construction of a carbon neutral processing facility in the Netherlands for innocent drinks. With a vast network of design consultants, permitting specialists and site delivery personnel all of the above services can be offered efficiently and effectively in Europe as well as the UK. This is now further supported by the recent integration into the NIRAS group.

OUR CLIENTS

Integrated Food Projects have partnered with Kettleby Foods on a number of high-profile multi-million pound capital projects since 2003/4, helping the business to develop and grow. Throughout that time they have provided cost-effective and efficient solutions on development projects both at our existing ready meals production facility and also in creating a new satellite facility. The projects at our existing facility were managed without impact on our ability to service our own clients, and all projects have been delivered within budget, in a timely fashion and to the requisite standards of safety and quality. Their team work ethos and professional approach ensure successful projects and I would utilise Integrated Food Projects in the future without hesitation.

- Jarrod Thorndyke, Production Director

I have worked with Integrated Food Projects on many capital expenditure projects since 2004, the latest being the development of the new plot of land adjacent to our main site. They successfully employed a project delivery process to ensure the integration of a leased modular building solution with the development of the site infrastructure to improve logistics and Health and Safety. Their staff are always positive and enthusiastic and have fostered a team-work approach ensuring another successful project delivered. I look forward to working with them again in the near future.
