Integrated Food Projects have been involved with Kettleby Foods (part of the Samworth Brothers Group) since 2003.

We have been involved in developing their capital expenditure plans and delivered 3 substantial expansion projects to the convenience foods production facility in Melton Mowbray.

2004/5 Project

Value - £2.5 million
Programme - 32 weeks

Development of existing factory to house cook-house extension, packaging and dry goods warehouse, production hygiene facilities, CIP plant, bulk chemical storage and installation of new tray wash, rack wash, cooking and cooling vessels, relocation of CIP plant and bulk chemical storage.

2006/7 Project

Value - £2 million
Programme - 28 weeks

A major expansion project to increase production levels by 30% through incorporation of a new potato cooking facility. Substantial internal alterations and extension work were carried out to improve amenities, low risk and high care production, new offices and new product development presentation suite.

2010 Project

Value - £1.25 million
Programme - 16 weeks

Creation of new High Care holding and blast chills within existing facility and extensions to the existing packaging store and boiler-house with associated services.
